TransLab addresses the education beyond “business as usual”. Sustainability as a way forward from the current planetary crises requires its champions guardians. Professionals like a consultant / manager in sustainability development need to build their skills on experience gained in everyday practice included in the educational curriculum.

The goal of the training to become the sustainable development consultant is learning of to find the concept of consensus in future-oriented creative processes, and to finally serve as a coach and a moderator. For the sustainable development managers, the training offers the strategic and project-oriented implementation of such concepts.

The education curriculum includes subjects of Regional Management, Lifestyle change, Sustainability of the rural areas, Sustainability in the urban areas, Circular Economy, Health and Green Promotion, Resources, Energy, Waste and Mobility.

Using the theoretical and practical exercises from the professional world (including methods like psychodrama and other creative techniques, individual and group work, short lectures and talks, simulations, etc.) the students will be challenged to create by creating their own solution towards:

  • How does the local implementation of the global sustainability goals work in practice?
  • What psychological prerequisites are needed for an eco-social transformation?
  • How do you consider the planetary guard rails in the corporate and political action?
  • How do concepts emerge in education for sustainable development through participation?
  • Which What type of the management is needed needs to implement sustainable concepts?
